Ofsted Report 2018

Letter to parents June 2018

Dear Parents and Carers,

Following our short inspection on 22 May 2018, I am extremely pleased that the inspector recognised the many and significant strengths of the school, not least the 'positive atmosphere and ethos' we have, the fact that we place 'the well-being of pupils at the heart of the school' and that we have a curriculum which 'inspires and enthuses pupils to achieve.'

The lead inspector clearly acknowledges that 'parents and pupils think very highly of the school.'  He also states that writing is a strength, that teaching of reading is having a significant impact and that children make at least good progress in maths.

I think the letter is a true reflection of our school and the work we do educating and caring for your children.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the parents who took the time to complete the online questionnaire and to thank you for your on-going support.

Yours faithfully,

Mr J.H. Johnson, Headteacher
